How Profile Audit reads your profile
A six-dimension recruiter read, scored out of 100, every recommendation traced to evidence in your own text. No opaque grades. Here is exactly what we check and why it matters.
1 · Headline — /20
The first thing a recruiter sees, in search results and in your profile. We check: is your target role visible, is your sector named, is one distinguishing credential present (registration, qualification, scale)? A headline that lists five unrelated things scores lower than one that says role + sector + credential.
2 · About — /20
Your pitch in 2 600 characters. We check whether your two strongest results lead, whether expertise is credible (scale, numbers, outcomes) and whether it reads first-person and human. An About that opens with "passionate professional with a proven track record" has wasted its first line — we say so.
3 · Experience — /20
Bullets are scored as verb + object + scale + outcome. "Managed a team" scores low; "Led a 12-person site team across 3 concurrent projects worth R80m" scores high. We flag duty lists (responsibilities with no results) and vague verbs, and check that your decision-making scope is explicit.
4 · Skills — /20
LinkedIn shows only your top 3 skills before "see more". We check alignment: are those 3 the ones your target role demands, or a scatter of everything you've ever touched? Scattered signal reads as unfocused; three aligned skills read as deliberate.
5 · Credibility — /20
External validation: professional registration where your field has one (ECSA, SACPCMP, SAICA, ICAN, ICPAK, GhIE, EBK — whichever market you're in), contextual recommendations from people who saw your work, and recognisable employer names carrying their own scale.
6 · Consistency — /20
Can a recruiter read your trajectory? Transitions should be explicit — why you moved, what you carried across. Unexplained gaps and lateral moves with no bridge sentence cost you clarity. We check the through-line, not the titles.
How the AI read works
Your profile text goes to Claude (Anthropic) under a recruiter-persona prompt we've tuned on African market frames: the professional bodies, employer brands, public-sector vocabulary and currency conventions of SA, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Egypt. Every score carries a written justification quoting the exact text behind it. Recommendations start from what you wrote — placeholders where numbers are missing, never invented facts.
The free audit gives you the scores, the three ranked problems, and your first fix. The R49 Quick Fix rewrites your headline and About. The R149 expert report adds experience rewrites, per-score justifications, and the shortlist verdict.
What we don't do
We don't store your LinkedIn credentials — we never see them. We don't invent results. We don't promise interviews. The audit tells you what a recruiter reads in the first six seconds — what you do with that is yours.
